Public/Government Services
Scenario Requirements:
In public affairs and government service such as; public service halls, citizen centers, administrative approval, social security, real estate transaction centers, marriage registration offices, etc., there is a two way interaction between the workflow and the citizen. The workflow requires the collection and confirmation of the personal information of the applicant, while the citizen requires a confirmation of the results of the workflow. A traditional worklow could be as follows: the attendant initiates the workflow through internal computer systems, an ID card reader is used to caputre the citize´s information from their ID card, additional information specific to the workflow is entered manually, the associated document is then printed for signature, signed and returned to the workflow via a scanned image for archiving.
The entire process requires printing the signature and stamp of paper documents, copying the certificates, and finally manually archiving the signed paper documents and copies and storing them in a storage space that meets the environmental standards.
Solution Design:
Whether it is client server (C/S) architecture or browser server (B/S) architecture, biometric handwritten signatures can be introduced into existing document handling workflows through the integration of Ugee Signature´s software development kits (SDK´s). Through direct USB connection to the workflow´s operating system, Ugee Signature´s hardware products can replace paper and scanning devices to provide a superior customer experience as well as superior workflow governance in the capturing of biometric handwritten signatures. The existing workflow will send, or display, the corresponding documents in electronic format to the signature hardware device for the customer to review securely through the USB connection. Upon review, the customer can initiate the opening of the signature window and sign. The customer continues to control the signing process until the customer has confirmed the siganture, thus attaching the biometric handwritten signature to the associated document as a digital object. The signature handwriting is inserted into the designated location of the electronic document in the form of an image and saved in the workflow. [please validate the following regarding the scanner technically see note in cell W42]If the high-speed scanner module is configured, the certificate can be photographed and scanned for archiving. In this way, the business handling process has achieved paperless and digitalization throughout the process.
For workflows of greater biometric and data capture requirements, Ugee Signature is please to present the 10.1" multifunctional signature display with an integrated fingerprint module, which can be used for signing and electronic printing, and dual biometric information collection. The intelligent information interaction terminal can also be considered. This device can be equipped with optional functional modules such as fingerprint scanner, ID card reader, camera/high-speed scanner according to workflow requirements. For example, the device can collect the ID card information of the applicant, take a facial scan, capture video, conduct a biometric comparison against an ID card, as well as facilitating the signing electronic documents to produce the best possible workflow and document governance. In the event of the use of an Android version of the intelligent information interaction terminal, the business APP can be installed to realize self-service inquiry, business processing and other service functions.
Solution Advantages:
The traditional service hall process is cumbersome, time-consuming, labor-intensive, and paper-consuming, and a large amount of paper materials need to be stored in a qualified environment. The paperless business process is efficient and rigorous, with comprehensive and secure information collection, and the entire process is traceable, ensuring that the chain of evidence is complete and reliable, making business processing more convenient and efficient, greatly reducing the burden on staff, improving the experience of the person handling the business, and improving service satisfaction.
